About a year after the arrival of Dobsons into the district, Barney came. He was a brother to Mrs. Dobson and was about sixty years of age then. Before coming here he had lived in Los Angeles for a few years. This was not his first trip to Canada as he had travelled around a great deal. He was a real good worker and in good health. As far as I know he was always a bachelor. In 1934 he worked for Chris Nelson, helping to saw logs on Pete Morin's sawmill. Barney left to go back to the States shortly after this.
