1%20FFcovericon2_57.gifMr. McCoy came from Iowa and homesteaded the S.E. 27-57-5 in 1912. This is where Ganton's later lived. Mr. John Ockerman did some breaking for him and he built himself a house and barn. About 1915 he left and returned to the States. There he traded his homestead to a man named L.B. Kirkpatrick, for a house in Iowa. Mr. Kirkpatrick never came here to live.
