In the late 1920's, Mr. Goswell came to this district from the Vermilion area and settled on the place where Elmer Elson lived in later years. He was a married man but his wife didn't come here with him but remained in Vermilion. His health was poor as he suffered from a heart condition, and was only here a couple of years before he died. His remains were taken back to Vermilion for burial.
