Spring Park

A wedding supper and dance was held in the Spring Park Hall in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Myshaniuk who were married on March 12 in Edmonton. The couple are honeymooning in the U.S.A. and Mexico. Mr. Nick Myshaniuk would liked to take this opportunity to thank all the Spring Park Ladies who helped to get ready for the wedding supper.

Sorry to hear that Mrs. George Smith is in the Hospital in Edmonton. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Miss Millie Gozjolko spent the. week end with her parents. Millie is employed in Edmonton.While here she took in the wedding supper and dance.

Out of town guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Russell were Mr. and Mrs. Marcel. Henry, and Charlie, all of Calgary.

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vic. Scott was their son Gordon of Edmonton.

Visiting with Mr. Alex Ure, over the week end was his sister Jessie.

Visiting with L. Remmillard was his brother Henry and wife of LaCorey and friends Mr. Cliff Franks from Edmonton.

The flue bug has visited Spring Park with many of our children sick and out of school this past week or two.

The Spring Park Ladies meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Milly Gozjolko on April G. Bingo will be played. Once again if anyone or any organization is interested in the Cemetery Fund, please contact Mrs. Vic. Scott or Mrs. Gus Hellquist.  It is to keep the cemetery east of Elk Point clean.

Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ingersoll was his mother, Mrs. Ingersoll Sr. of Edmonton.

Mrs. Hazel Stults would like to thank everyone who donated toward the Red Cross that she was canvassing for.
