SPRING PARK NEWS

Mrs. Harry Cinnamon from Yellowknife is visiting her daughters, sister and brother. Her husband Harry will arrive in the district any day now to join her.

Miss Muriel Currie from the coast was visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Buster Valentine.

Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Lawrence from Greenwood, B.C., are expecting to arrive any day to visit their daughter and family and son and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Martin and family from Vernon, B.C. were visiting their many relations. Also Grover McLain and son Eldon from Kelowna spent a few days visiting at Lindbergh, Ferguson Flats and Spring Park.

Watch for posters for our Big Annual Chicken Supper to be held sometime in October.

Mr. and Mrs. Ken Booth and daughter from Edmonton spent their Holidays with Ken's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Booth.

Miss Mania Valentine has left for Edmonton attending the college where she will resume her studies.

Mr. Donnie Darling has left for Newranium City where he will be employed.

Morgan Darling has been transferred from Grand Centre to Saskatoon Saskatchewan. He is employed by Mix Construction Co.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Purdue (nee Marie Lawrence) from Penticton, B.C. spent part of their holiday here visiting friends and relations.

Mrs. Littlejohn from Edmonton is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Mary McHugh and niece and nephew, Mini and Jim McHugh.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Saranchuk from Vancouver, B.C. have been here visiting their friends and relatives.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Jim Howe. Our sympathy goes out to the family and his many friends.
