Ferguson Flats

Mr. Ray Williams and son Leslie, and Mr. M. Williams, all of Edmonton, were recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Nelson.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Nelson, Amy Ann and Mr. Neil Nelson, motored to Dawson Creek B.C. recently where they visited their:sister, Mr. and Mrs. Melin and family. The men did some hunting in the area and were successful in bringing home some wild meat.

Two other hunting enthusiasts, Arnold Ockerman and Bruce Young came home with meat to fill the deep freeze.

Mr. and Mrs Eddie Hillebrand and daughter recently spent some time in Edmonton.

Congratulations go out to the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zalasky whose wedding reception and dance were held in the Primrose hall in mid- November. Many were in attendance.

The annual meeting of the Ferguson Flats Ladies Club was held at the home of Mrs. Carl Nelson last Thursday. A full report on the success of the November bazaar was given and officers for 1964 were elected.

The January 2nd meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Edward Nelson.

Mr. John Ockerman Sr. has returned from a short holiday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Idelore Nelson of Clandonald.

Congratulations are extended to two lucky ladies in this area, Mrs. Fritz Kummetz and Mrs. John Hillebrand, both having won prizes in the Quaker Magic contest recently.
